Top Ten Reasons Why Trump Will Lose Bigly in 2020
Ten: In a recent New York Times/Siena College poll, former VP Joe Biden holds a wide lead in key battleground states against President Donald J. Trump or the “Hustler-in-Chief.” Actually, polls can’t be totally trusted since the mostly white Trump supporters lied to the pollsters in 2016! Hence, let’s skip this one.
Nine: As of June 28, 2020, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), the total number of coronavirus or COVID-19 infections has reached 2,504,175. The total number of deaths has reached 125,484. Looks like Trump was wrong when he said in late February, 2020, that “…One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear…”
Eight: Speaking of the horrendous number of deaths, where Trump has grossly mismanaged and downplayed (to the present) the pandemic, Dr. Ashish Jha, the director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, recently predicted that the U.S. will reach 200,000 deaths in September, 2020.
Seven: At a recent Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where one million people apparently requested to attend, according to the moronic Trump campaign, Trump uttered more dangerous and idiotic remarks about his handling of the pandemic:”Slow the Testing Down Please!”
Six: Speaking of the Tulsa rally (more like neo-Nazi rally?), where about 6,200 people attended with mostly empty seats, Trump rambled and spewed his racist rhetoric, once again, when linking COVID-19 to a racial slur: “kung flu.”
Five: As a consistent racist via his rhetoric and policies, Trump continues to harm himself, politically, with racialized groups, such as Latinas/os, African Americans, Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc. By keeping a low profile, Biden is allowing Trump to dig himself deeper in his racist hole.
Four: While Americans don’t protest in mass against Trump’s immoral policy to put brown immigrant children in cages, this racist and inhumane policy, alone, should be enough to impeach or defeat him in 2020. I wonder if Americans would protest if they were white Canadian children?
Three: If the vast majority of white women finally reject Trump, unlike 2016, he only has one loyal group to rely on: white men. Since Biden is also a white male who benefits from white privilege, Trump can’t play the race or gender card against him.
Two: Like in the case of the sell-out Latinas/os and African Americans in the case of Trump’s racism, I’m still shocked that too many women voted for Trump in 2016, despite Trump boasting about grabbing women “…by the p______.”
One: Trump recently re-tweeted a racist Tweet, thanking the “…great people of The Village…,” where a white Trump supporter uttered what best illustrates Trump’s presidency and re-election campaign: “White Power!”
